Projects

swisstechgadgets eine schweizer shop/e-commerce website die daniel sten designed und entwickelt habe
swisstechgadgets eine schweizer shop/e-commerce website die daniel sten designed und entwickelt habe
E-commerce Website: SwissTechGadgets
Desktop application: ExaQueue
Website: Huefyse.ch

The first website I designed for a third party, Huefyse-Bar.
Huefyse-bar is a local tavern-like restaurant in Basel (CH - Switzerland) with exceptional service for which I designed, developed and still manage the website.

Responsibilities I hold:
Web design and dev., SEO, Marketing, Social Media presence and Human Resource.

Browser-Game Website:

My first ever website was a small browser game library which allowed to play those games directly on the web like on playmonkey in 2010 or pokie today.
The goal was to have a selection of highly rated games instead of a flood of games listed.
I was 15 years old when I developed it so it is not online anymore.

Responsibilities I held:
It was my plaything so I just picked what I liked and designed/built the website.

Project: Crypto

Now, for almost 8 years I am mentally invested in crypto and for the past 3 years I am financially as well. It's an amazing revolution developing and unfolding upon us and since I'm highly innovation, data and tech driven it excites me on many levels.
Currently, I'm managing the capital of close friends & family with a
mid-term buy-and-hold strategy.

Trading strategy:
Fundamental market/project analysis to stock-pick and finding entries and exits via Fibonacci retracement zones and Elliot wave theorem in regards of the BTC-Cycle theory.

I did develope and design an E-commerce website in 2019-2020.
It was a gadget shop aimed for swiss customers which have and had limited access to amazon and fillink a market position for products that have been too new/short-lifed for relative swiss retailers like digitec or microspot.
First, it did seem to grow and drive customers to us up to a revenue of a few thousand a month - and I learned a lot!
Later on we had to shut it down just the following year due to covid and internal conflicts.

Some of the responsibilities I held:
SEO on- & off-page, Product sourcing, Invoice processing, Web development + UI/UX, Customer service and Copy writing.

The first large scale project I started with two cofounders was the award winning ExaQueue which was a software designed to provide a whole ecosystem for competitive gaming.
But, as an ecosystem is a huge project, it was admitably too big of a project for us three 19 friends with just decent reputation and big dreams.
Nontheless, we agreed on re-evaluating the project when finished studying.
I do still hold passion and excitement for this project.

If you want to learn more about this and stay tuned for a revival of ExaQueue ->

Responsibilities I held:
Product managment, envision & design, Business managment and development, Fundraising, Webdesing & development, Marketing strategy & execution, Data analysis & algorithm development and Human resources.

About Me

I am a part-time entrepreneur and freelancer with a passion for technology and innovation while studying chemistry in Basel - Switzerland.
In love with working on interesting projects and gaining experience while building something reliable, sustainable and exciting.
On my personal website, you will find a collection of my past projects and experience, as well as information on how to work and/or colaborate with me.

You might think I did projects in a lot of different industries and branches and that is indeed true. I am nowhere near perfect in almost any of those areas of expertises but, I know how to learn whatever I need and am interested in efficiently and proactively and exactly that quality is what I wanted to showcase. When I do commit to something it is the norm for me to give it my all and to not give up untill I've done it properly once at least.
